New team members who joined us in February

A huge Assured welcome to our new guys: Mike, Jennifer, Matthew, Joe, Diana & Blake who have joined us to work in our technical & sales teams. Here is an introduction to them!

MIKE HORROBIN, INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER

With over 16 years of professional experience under his belt, Mike brings a wealth of expertise to the team and joins us as an Infrastructure Engineer.

Holding an Advanced Diploma for IT professionals and several certifications from Microsoft and CompTIA, Mike is also currently dedicated to preparing for his Security+ exam.

"In just under a week, I've already witnessed the remarkable knowledge and strength of the team at Assured. Everyone is incredibly friendly and approachable, reflecting the company's commitment to fostering a positive culture. I foresee a promising future with Assured, one that prioritises my continual personal growth and development."

Outside of work, Mike enjoys a diverse array of interests including dog walking, immersing himself in music, delving into philosophy literature, watching combat sports, and indulging in gaming.

JENNIFER HARRELL, CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - WEST

Jennifer joins us as a Channel Development Manager.

With more than 30 years experience in Sales, Jennifer has dedicated the last 12 years to the dynamic field of information technology.

"Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, I've built a fulfilling life surrounded by a wonderful family, and I am proudly married for 28 years with two children.

Beyond the corporate landscape, my passions include quality family time, exploring new destinations, engaging in the thrill of hunting, maintaining personal fitness, and finding solace at our cherished ranch in Hunt, Texas. My journey reflects a balance between professional success and a deeply enriched personal life."

MATTHEW KNOX, CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - CDW

Matthew is a life-long tech advocate and has been in the professional tech industry for 10+ years. With experience throughout the business technology stack, his recent experience has been focused within the data center.

As a biology graduate and gamer at heart, learning the how and why to technology comes naturally and in speaking to others about technology, his passion is evident.

"When not working, I spend a lot of my time with my new fiancée (as of 12/2023) and son, Logan[11]. We all love to cook and watch our shows/movies. As an athlete I try to be as active as possible and enjoy running, HIIT, yoga, and many other activities. I also enjoy video games of the RPG genre, most often diving into the story like a good book. A personal goal this year is to become conversationally confident in Spanish and Japanese.

In my one week with Assured, their culture, passion, and drive are clear. I am happy to have boarded this ship and am very excited to see where it goes."

JOE FISH, 2ND LINE SERVICE DESK ENGINEER

Joe joins us to work in our Global Support team as a 2nd line engineer.

"Having previously having worked at a very small MSP Assured will be a large step up for me, but the prospect of progressing my career at such a fast-growing company is very exciting.

I’m hoping I can bring my own flare to an already stellar group of support staff on the service desk and relish in the new challenge that working at Assured will be.

In my spare time I like playing rugby and golf."

DIANA RODRIGUEZ, CHANNEL DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - CDW

Diana is from Chicago, IL and has worked in the IT industry for the last 7 years supporting companies like CDW, Samsung and Google.

“I couldn’t be happier to join Assured Data Protection and be a part of their continued success.

The buzz and excitement you feel from the team is contagious and I am looking forward to helping grow the channel business!

In my free time you can find me riding my Harley, hiking adventures or boating with my puppy and traveling. I love new experiences, there’s so much to see and do!”

JIBREEL CAUSEY, CHANNEL ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE

Jibreel is from Sterling, VA and has joined the team as a Channel Account Executive!

“I'm proud to be part of this incredible team. Outside of work, I'm all about spending quality time with my friends and family; those moments mean everything to me. When it comes to sports, my heart belongs to football and basketball, and I'm a die-hard New York Giants fan through and through. There's something special about the energy of a game day!

I also find peace in simpler things, like spending time outside. Whether it's hiking, playing sports, or simply enjoying nature, being outdoors rejuvenates me.

What truly sets me apart is my love for our company culture. From the collaborative environment to the emphasis on growth and development, I feel right at home here. Finding balance between work and life is crucial to me, and I believe in making time for the things that bring me happiness and fulfillment.
