Speaking at February’s Munich Security Conference, Anne Neuberger, the White House deputy national security advisor for cyber and emerging technologies outlined the scale of the problem and her belief that takedown operations aren’t enough to address the problem. As one ransomware gang is neutralised, another emerges to take its place in a constant game of whack-a-mole.
Like other cyber security professionals, you’ve almost certainly covered your bases, with established protocols and procedures for a ransomware attack and robust cyber security.
