ADP Kicks-Off Charity of the Year Collaboration with Quiz Night

Assured Data Protection's Charity Quiz Night

On Thursday, 29th November Assured Data Protection kicked-off its fundraising collaboration with newly nominated charity of the year, Dementia Forward.

Assured Data Protection is delighted to be partnered with Dementia Forward, a wonderful local charity based in Yorkshire which aims to help those in the region and their families affected by dementia.

Melissa MacDougall, Business and Channel Development Manager at ADP, was keen to get a nominated charity going at ADP and she is delighted that Dementia Forward was chosen. Melissa said: "When I joined ADP I was really keen to get everyone involved in nominating a charity. We selected 4 local charities and asked everyone to vote. Dementia Forward was a clear winner with many of the staff at ADP voting for this worthy cause.

I've always been passionate about volunteering, having volunteered at Oxfam as Finance Assistant, YMCA as Marketing and Communications Volunteer and in Africa teaching English and building houses, so I am really excited to get going with fundraising for Dementia Forward."

The kick-off quiz night was a great success, and Gill Quinn, CEO at Dementia Forward, was kind enough to join us to give a presentation on how the charity helps those affected by dementia in the local community, as well as some thought provoking exercises which enabled all the attendees to really understand how this illness can affect people.

Dementia Forward will remain ADP's nominated charity for the next year, and we have lots of exciting fundraising activities lined up - the 3 peaks challenge, Christmas mince pie-off, race nights and a bake off to name a few!

A huge thank you to Dementia Forward for joining us and to all the ADP staff for taking part in the quiz. We look forward to working with this fantastic charity over the next year, so watch this space...
